Film from Baseball's Past

There are many misleading still photos of old-time ballplayers where they are in contorted poses that are meant to capture them in action. I'd thought for a long time of doing a site that would use actual video images to help fans more correctly visualize the actions of old-time ballplayers. I've expanded that idea where I will also use this site as a clearinghouse to occasionally put film or audio related to a story from the series A Page from Baseball's Past.

I will liberally draw on which has become the home of many pieces of old baseball film clips. I'll embed in these pages the ones I have found most interesting. I also have worked in some of the other little film clips that have come my way, mostly little "GIF" files (Graphic Interface Format"), such as the one of Dazzy Vance's delivery on the lower right.
