Guide to CC Payments
If you already have a PayPal and/or Google Checkout account, you naturally can use any credit card you've associated with those accounts, and you are spared having to enter the CC number and billing address in making a payment.
To pay with a credit card without having a PayPal or Google Checkout account, you would click in the shopping cart on the PayPal checkout button. The next screen would look like this:

If you click the "Proceed to Checkout" button, you go to a screen like the one below where there is an option down below the normal PayPal login that says "Pay with a debit or Credit Card". You would then click on that link and go on to a screen to enter your credit card information for Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover.

Just as if you were paying through a credit card under a PayPal account, your credit card information is being entered on PayPal's secure site. At no time does the merchant receive or see your credit card information.
